Brutal Truth


Brutal Truth is an American death metal/deathgrind/grindcore band from New York City, United States formed in 1990 by ex-Anthrax, Nuclear Assault, and Stormtroopers Of Death bass guitarist Dan Lilker. They was originally signed to Earache Records but later switched to Relapse Records. The group disbanded in 1999, but reformed in 2006 and continue to release new music. In 2001, the Guinness Book of Records awarded the band for the record for shortest music video "Collateral Damage", which is 2.18 seconds long and consists of 48 still images in rapid succession followed by a clip of an explosion. Misery Index


Misery Index is an American death metal, grindcore and deathgrind band from Baltimore, Maryland, United States formed in 2001. Their band name is derived from the economic indicator of the same name, which was also the namesake of the last album by Assück, from whom Misery Index draw a significant influence. Their music is best described as death metal with strong hardcore punk and grindcore influences. The band runs its own record label, Anarchos Records, on which it has released a few EPs, they have also releases splits from Willowtip Records, Deep Six Records & others. Their debut album was released via Nuclear Blast in 2003. Since 2006, they are signed to Relapse Records. Check them at their Official Site and MySpace.
